Wrest Park is a fantastic 19th century french-style mansion with expansive grounds for little ones to run around and play in a safe outdoor space.
We have a play park suitable for a range of ages, including toddler swings and slide, and a large cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, selling kids' food options and great coffees, cakes, and hot and cold lunches.
Explore our range of outdoor spaces from large lawns great for picnics to shady woodland fantastic for natural exploration. All our main paths are buggy friendly. Car parking is available on site and we have baby changing facilities at the visitor centre.

Throughout school holidays we run kids' activities, trails, performers,crafts and other events to engage your children with history and the outdoors. Check our website for up to date information on the latest events. Most events and activities are included in admission or for members.
Admissions charges apply. English Heritage members get unlimited free visits to Wrest Park and 400 other historic sites. All members can bring up to 6 kids for free. Ask our fantastic team about joining when you visit for access to loads of great days out with the kids.
