At TinyTalk discover the joy of baby signing. We learn a few new BSL signs each week that are based on the weekly theme. Our themes cover a wide range of signs from bedtime routines to zoo animals. We use these signs to sign along to all of your little ones favourite nursery rhymes and action songs. Babies and toddlers love the music, all of the funny puppets, toys, instruments and story times. Parents/carers/Grandparents love learning something new that can help their understanding of their little one before they develop verbal speech. And everyone loves the social time at each class. Parents get time to chat and make new friends or gain some support over a hot cup of tea and biscuits while babies have free play time with a wide range of toys that are all provided.
Baby signing is a great tool to gain an insight to your babies wants, needs, and feelings as it provides a way for them to communicate before they can talk. It can also be a great way to give baby more confidence when communicating which may lead to earlier speech. Our classes don’t just focus on communication. Our sensory activities also help your baby develop their motor skills, focusing, visual tracking, hand eye coordination, language and numeracy skills,just to name a few, and they are are loads of fun!
Classes are currently available in Broughty Ferry, Carnoustie, Dundee and Monifieth. Classes are suitable from birth to two years old but siblings are always welcome and siblings come free.
