Our new family friendly campsite nestled in woodland in the Wensum Valley is sure to be a hit with parents of toddlers and young children. It has been designed with families and groups in mind with pitches surrounding a large central area for playing and having fun. With no cars permitted on the campsite it is safe for all ages. A large barn with seating, games and space to play is ideal for those wet days and contains communal fridges and mobile phone charging lockers free to use.
Also on site is a bar/cafe area with a small shop to provide some of those camping essentials. However, the site is located on the edge of the village of Taverham and so a new Lidl store, Tesco and pharmacy are all within easy reach. We can prepare packed lunches for you to take on days out as well as deliver breakfast to your tent and evening meals are also available on selected evenings.
Taverham is ideally located for many of Norfolk's visitor attractions. Taverham Mill, Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure, Pensthorpe, Bewilderwood and Cromer are just some of our favourite places to visit with young children but there is plenty more to do in and around Norwich.
