Welcome! I’m an experienced antenatal teacher who regularly teaches private antenatal classes. As so many NHS classes have had to be cancelled to allow the NHS to focus on the current crisis, I’d like to also offer a streamlined, remote course for anyone affected. Becoming a parent can be overwhelming at the best of times – in these more difficult ones, I hope to be able to support as many people as I can.

There are so many things to think about when your baby is on their way: where and how to give birth? How to manage pain levels? Should I have a water birth, use a TENS machines, have an epidural? And once your baby arrives, there’s more - sleeping, nappies, slings, the list goes on. But don’t worry! My job is to present you with the most up-to-date hospital policy, current research and my own experience to help guide you in making the right choices for you and your baby.

As a highly experienced antenatal teacher, doula and postnatal specialist, I’ve supported over 600 new parents and their babies to find their way along their parenting journeys so far. I’m passionate that even now, your baby is an individual with their own preferences and needs and I believe in supporting new parents to have the confidence to parent their baby, their way.

I've been an Antenatal Teacher and Doula for 8 years and in that time I've also had my own 4 kids. I have an MA from The University of Edinburgh in Linguistics, majoring in Child Language Acquisition, and a Foundation Degree in Antenatal Education from the University of Worcester. This led to my Professional Licence to Practice from the National Childbirth Trust (NCT). I teach NCT classes weekly, and continually keep up with the latest maternity research.
