An important part of child development, emotional skills lay the foundation for better mental health as children grow.

All new environments, including Nursery and School, provide children with opportunities for growth and the 'Nurture Gnomes' resources are designed to increase their social and emotional vocabulary in a fun and relaxed way.  Learning and understanding about emotions can lead to better coping skills along with a positive mental health attitude and are a great tool for all children, including home-schooled and neurodiverse.

For children with non, pre or limited verbal communication (which does not mean they are not understanding), the Gnome-Emoji workbook is perfect as it uses art as a way of expressing emotions. Other resources, such as the hand painted pebbles, can be used for children to begin to recognise and resonate with an emotion, using the characters to set up play scenes (along with sensory input due to their smoothness).

Over the past few months, I have been lucky enough to win some awards which include a Female in Business Award and a Small Business Award from Theo Paphitis (Dragon's Den).  Along with these, both of my children's books are now a 'recommended read' from Sue Atkins, the Parenting Coach on This Morning, BBC and Disney Junior.

Suitable for all children from ages 3-11, or for older/young adults who may have a range of emotional literacy needs.

Currently used by parents, schools and play therapists.

5* reviews:

"I am honestly astounded at how much his emotional literacy, understanding and reasoning has come on, working through all of your resources. It really has clicked for him."

"A big thank you for the Gnome-emoji card game. Our Year 2 class played the game on a rainy day and they absolutely loved them. In fact they ask for the card game every day. The children were all engaged, asked each other questions and sat listening to their peers. These cards really have got the children talking and using more indepth emotions to tell how they feel."

"So much fun in a little bundle!  Absolutely loving this card game. It's been a game changer for my little 3 year old in how he identifies his own feelings and recgonises the facial expressions of other people's emotions. So many different ways to play this too, so it will literally never get old."

"We are an organisation that supports adults and children and saw your emotion stones as a great too to use in our setting. They have been used within the counselling and peer support setting (veterans and their families). These stones have been an opportunity for our service uses to express their emotions easily, and they are fantastic!"
