Now, more than ever we need people to come forward to help and support children and young people living in Northamptonshire.

With a shortage of foster carers nationally and an increase in the number of children and young people coming into care during the pandemic we need anyone who has been considering becoming a foster carer to make contact.

Despite the ongoing challenges related to the pandemic we are open for enquiries, holding virtual information sessions and have adapted our ways of working to ensure we are still able to process, assess and support our foster carers in a COVID secure way. 

The fostering service is now part of the newly established Northamptonshire Children's Trust (NCT). NCT delivers early help and social care across Northamptonshire. 

Our team of friendly and experienced social workers recruit, assess and support foster carers. We have an excellent support and training package and are committed to ensuring our foster carers are supported every step of the way so that they can do the best for the children and young people in Northamptonshire.

We urgently need people to come forward who are interested in becoming a foster carer. There are many different types of fostering, each with its challenges and rewards. It is important to explore which type of fostering suits you and your family.
