I am a sensitive, thoughtful, and highly collaborative RIBA Chartered Architect and accredited Conservation Registrant with a deep curiosity for the nuances of Place. I believe that architecture needs to serve both people and context in delivering sustainable solutions that touch the earth lightly building only what is necessary.
Whether uncovering the layers of an historic building or shaping a new-build development, my approach is grounded in listening to clients, communities, and collaborators and finding some joy, magic, and unique narrative while meeting the needs of everyday life.
With comprehensive experience across all project stages from inception to completion and with strong technical design skills and contract administration I also excel at leading multi-disciplinary teams through complex briefs. My project background spans affordable, specialist, and small-scale housing developments, as well as commercial workshops, offices, and high-profile refurbishments like the Sutton Estate and Hanham Hall.
I combine a highly organized approach to project management with a supportive leadership style that empowers teams to contribute their strengths.
Core Pillars of My Practice:
- Sustainable Living: low-energy design principles and low-carbon strategies that touch the earth lightly and advocating for traditional, natural materials.
- Heritage & Conservation: Applying established conservation guidelines (Historic England, SPAB, and ICOMOS) to sensitively repair, adapt, and secure the future of historic buildings while exploring how old and new come together.
- Tools & Innovation: Listening, hand drawing and modern digital workflows including Revit BIM modeling, NBS specifications, and emerging AI tools like Midjourney.
Outside of the design studio, I am committed to supporting diversity and inclusion within the built environment as a member of the Association of Women in Property and Freehold LGBT+ CIC—and when I'm not looking at buildings, you can usually find me out on the golf course.
