Review: Wriggles by Start-Rite Shoes, worth £25

I was happy to have been chosen to do a review of the Wriggles by Start-Rite toddler shoes and found them to be a lovely little shoe, particularly for summer and dry autumn days. They have a cute, practical design that makes them easy to pair with everyday outfits, while still feeling suitable for a busy toddler. My child seemed comfortable wearing them, and I particularly liked how lightweight they felt, making them a good option for days when they were going to be walking, playing and exploring.

One of the features I found most useful was how easy the shoes were to put on and take off. This is especially helpful with a toddler, as getting shoes on can sometimes be a challenge! The design felt practical for everyday use, and the shoes offered a good balance between comfort and support without feeling overly heavy or bulky. I also liked that they were well suited to warmer weather and dry days, making them a versatile option throughout summer and into early autumn.

The main limitation I noticed was the fit. The shoes were slightly narrow and longer length compared to say Clark’s, so I would recommend paying particular attention to the when choosing a size, especially if your child has wider feet. Although this did not prevent my child from wearing them, a little more room across the foot would have made the fit even better and potentially more comfortable for longer periods.

Overall, I was very pleased with the Wriggles by Start-Rite. They are a sweet, lightweight and practical toddler shoe. Despite being slightly narrow, I found them comfortable, easy to use and attractive, and they would be a lovely choice for everyday toddler adventures.
