Review: SlumberCalm 2-in-1 Sound Machine & Night Light, worth £54.99

The SlumberCalm by SlumberPod is a wonderful 2 in 1 machine and nightlight. The package itself was so pretty I didn't want to open the pack!

I am pretty addicted to white noise machines personally and as I have 5 children I have had quite a few so far. With this one, I loved that there’s a shush noise as well as womb noise. These are pretty uncommon to find and newborns tend to love them above all else!

I also really liked the variety of sounds and that there are a few lovely lullabies.  There's 16 music and nature sounds, 7 calming white noise sounds and 7 fan sounds. The sound itself is very good, sounds like a classy speaker but it’s got a lot more functionalities. It's a little bit less loud than another white noise I own but still loud enough.  

Aside from this, it connects to the mains via a usb c which comes with the pack but there's no plug - for us that’s fine because we have a usb plug socket. But it can work without the plug too as the battery is rechargeable which is spot on in a white noise machine particularly for use inside a pram.

There's 8 beautiful night light colours to choose from (including purple!) and this is also a very handy tool because you can touch the machine to turn it on or off so great if you have it by your bedside and want to turn it off after a night feed for example.

This would work perfect even for a child to have by their bedside table as it would be easy to work out! There's also an optional timer to automatically switch off the white noise: 30 minutes, 60, or 90 minutes or alternatively continuous sound.  

All in all it’s a 5/5 for me.
