Review: Peely Controller & Phone Holder – Fortnite Cable Guy, worth £29.99

If your child is Fortnite-obsessed like mine, then the Fortnite Peely Cable Guys Controller Holder and Phone Stand will be an instant favourite. Ours absolutely loved it from the moment it came out of the box!

First off, the design is brilliant. Peely, the banana character from Fortnite, is brought to life in such a fun and quirky way. The figure is solid, brightly coloured, and instantly recognisable — it's become a cool little feature on my child’s desk. Whether your child plays Fortnite or just loves the characters, this is a fab piece of merch that looks great on display.

But it’s not just for show — it’s actually really useful. It holds a gaming controller really securely (we tried an Xbox controller), and it also works brilliantly as a phone stand, which means no more devices left lying around the floor or buried under blankets!

It’s surprisingly sturdy for something that looks so playful — made from durable PVC, it doesn't tip over easily.

What I really like is that it encourages a bit more care and organisation — suddenly, putting controllers and devices away is more fun, and a lot less of a nagging battle!

It would make a brilliant birthday present or stocking filler for any Fortnite fan (or even just a gamer who enjoys fun accessories).

The only downside to this is the price, at just under £30, I feel it is slightly overpriced for what it is.

A great mix of fun and functional!
