Review: Orchard Toys Alphabet Bingo, worth £9.99

Review by VIP Club Member Samuel Crowe

Orchard Toys Alphabet Bingo is a fantastic educational game that combines learning with fun, making it an excellent choice for young children beginning to recognise letters and develop their communication skills.

As a parent of twins who are currently receiving speech and language therapy, I am always looking for enjoyable ways to support their development at home. I have found this game to be a lovely way to encourage learning through play. It gives my twins opportunities to listen, concentrate, recognise letters and practice communicating in a relaxed environment without feeling under pressure.

The colourful illustrations and child-friendly design make the game appealing, while the simple rules make it easy for us to enjoy together. We can practice listening to letter names, repeating sounds and taking turns. It also encourages interaction between my twins and creates opportunities for us to talk, ask questions and celebrate their achievements.

I particularly like that the game makes learning feel natural rather than like a formal learning activity. For children who need additional support with speech and language development, finding activities that hold their attention can sometimes be challenging. Alphabet Bingo provides an enjoyable way to practice listening and letter recognition while building confidence.

Another positive feature is that the game encourages important social skills, including patience, sharing and turn-taking. These skills can develop alongside communication and early literacy. Playing together also gives me opportunities to encourage my twins to communicate in ways that suit their individual abilities and celebrate their progress.

Overall, I would highly recommend Orchard Toys Alphabet Bingo to other parents, particularly those looking for ways to support their children's learning at home. As a parent of twins receiving speech and language therapy, I appreciate having an activity that brings us together and makes learning enjoyable. It provides valuable opportunities to practice new skills through play and helps make our time together both meaningful and fun. It is a wonderful addition to our collection of educational games.

I give this game a 5/5 rating.
