Review: Little Rick Drinks

As a parent, I don't often get the chance to sit down and properly relax, so when the house finally goes quiet in the evening, I like to make the most of those precious moments. While I still enjoy the occasional glass of wine, I've been trying to cut back on alcohol and find alternatives that still feel like a little treat and that's where Little Rick comes in.

I'd heard good things about hemp-infused sparkling drinks and I was really interested to see what all the fuss was about so when I was offered the chance to trial the Little Rick drinks out, I jumped at the chance.

The first thing that struck me was how stylish the cans look, they definitely don't feel like your average soft drink. They're something I'd happily take along to a barbecue, enjoy in the garden on a sunny evening or crack open after a particularly hectic day at work or with the kids.

Taste-wise, I was pleasantly surprised. There are 4 different flavours to choose from: Raspberry Lemonade, Raspberry Coconut, Mint & Lime and Pina and they are all light, fruity and refreshing without being overly sweet. They taste much more natural than a lot of alcohol-free drinks I've tried, and I found them really easy to enjoy chilled straight from the fridge.

What I liked most was that it still felt like I was having a proper grown-up drink. Sometimes when you're avoiding alcohol or you're designated driver, it can feel as though your only options are fizzy water or a sugary soft drink. Little Rick felt a bit more special, making those rare moments of peace at the end of the day feel like a genuine treat.

One thing to bear in mind is that Little Rick contains hemp extract, so it's intended for adults only. As with any hemp or CBD product, everyone's experience is different, and if you're pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication, it's always worth checking with your healthcare professional before trying it.

Overall, I really enjoyed Little Rick and can definitely see myself keeping a few cans in the fridge for those evenings when I want something refreshing without opening a bottle of wine. It's a lovely alternative if you're cutting back on alcohol or simply fancy something a little different.

If you're looking for an adult soft drink that feels a bit more indulgent, I'd certainly recommend giving Little Rick a try.
