Review: Lascal Mini BuggyBoard, worth £59.99

The  Lascal BuggyBoard Mini is a very handy added addition to our pram. Upon receiving the item, I really liked the animal print design on the board, it’s super cute and makes the board look more interesting.

When I began to put the board together I found it more difficult than first anticipated. The instructions were a little difficult to understand and it took a lot longer to get it ready for use than expected. The pieces that need to be connected to the pram to attach the board to were difficult to tighten at first and getting it level was a little tricky. Once attached, we tested it out with my 3 year old on the board and newborn in the carry cot. With the pram we have (Joie iSnug set) it feels as though the buggy board doesn’t fit as well as I wanted it to for my son to stand on it and hold on. He seems comfortable on the board with his body between the handle and the carry cot. Then he holds onto the handles on either side. Luckily, we’re a tall family so my partner and I can just about reach with him on the board. If we used the extenders I think we wouldn’t be able to reach the pram handle.

With that being said, my son is obsessed with using the board on all trips out the house. He finds it really fun to be wheeled around and loves that he can see his baby brother. We have also tried it with the car seat attached instead and he has a lot more room so the board could be moved forward/closer to the pram if needed, making it more comfortable to push without worrying about catching our feet on it. It has also made trips to the shops or down to the park much easier for us if I choose not to use the sling.

Overall, we have really enjoyed using the buggy board and, despite some of the issues we faced with it initially, we are really glad we got to try it out and will enjoy continuing to use it.
