Review: CoziGo, worth £72.99

The CoziGo arrived at the perfect time, with all this fantastic weather we’ve had it’s been the perfect time to put it to the test. We are a farming family so a lot of our summer is spent at country shows and days out, or often just walking around the farm.
We have an Uppababy Vista pram which the CoziGo pram fitted perfectly, it’s go zips and expansion parts on each corner so it will fit every pram. Our youngest is still on two naps a day, so this was perfect to put over him whilst napping in the chair part of the pram (haven’t trialed it on bassinet) it fitted over easily, held on securely with the clasps onto the main part of the pram. It was cool inside, handy peep hole at the top and also zip on the side (as per photos) to check in or just create a breeze whilst keeping them out of the direct light. He did nap in this, but would also recommend just putting it on and opening the sides just to keep them directly out of the sun, especially during the hottest part of the day if you’re out and about. It’s super thin and lightweight material and whilst it creates a small sweat to put it back into the original bag (think sleeping bag into original bag style grab and zip!) it’s got two handy hooks that you could put on the pram to keep it out the way as well.
The CoziGo feels well made and durable and I’d absolutely let friends borrow it knowing they wouldn’t be able to somehow break it. It seemed particularly dark and black out inside, so great if you have a child who enjoys a black out sleep set up. It definitely ticks the box for parents who want to enjoy the outdoors but want to keep a small child safe in the heat and sun, a completely versatile option for that.
This would be ideal for a cot on the plane, we’re flying end of September and would definitely take it if we were doing a night flight or flight around nap time. I also think this would be great from newborn upwards, it’s just a good all rounder for any pram or baby/child housing unit.
Price point wise, do I think it’s worth £72.99? I definitely would if I was a frequent flyer. Personally I wouldn’t have spent my money on that for a second child but would maybe for a first child knowing you’d get more than one child’s use out of it. I also think this is a good baby gift for a friend, something a few of you could go in on, especially if you think an outdoorsy friend would get use of it. Or to even share between friends at an event that have babies napping on different schedules? It’s a great idea and something handy to have but I wouldn’t deem it as an essential for any first time parent list. A luxury addition for sure.
Overall I’ve loved trying it out, Archie has given it a thumbs up and it’s easy to keep in the boot with the pram for those hot summer days we’re having!
