Review: Adventure Waterproof Backpack 12L, worth £79.95

We were very happy to have the opportunity to review the Adventure Waterproof Backpack by Red Equipment and have been using this for our son on family day trips and when he goes to stay at his dads, and it’s quickly become one of those items we wouldn’t want to be without.

The 12L size is perfect for children, with plenty of room for spare clothes, snacks, drinks and all those little essentials that seem to come everywhere with us. Despite being compact, it feels surprisingly spacious and well organised thanks to the handy pockets and bottle holders.

One of the standout features for us is the waterproof design. Whether we’re caught in unexpected rain, heading to the beach or exploring muddy trails, everything inside stays completely dry. The roll-top closure is also very easy to use and gives real peace of mind when we’re out and about.

My son found the backpack very comfortable and it is ideal for smaller frames. The padded shoulder straps and breathable back panel make it easy for our son to carry himself, meaning he could be independent whist keeping the weight manageable.

We particularly love the durable, hardwearing material, which has already coped brilliantly on our adventures. It wipes clean so easily and still looks as good as new.
