Make Your Very Own Bird Feeder This Winter

Homemade Bird Feeder An easy craft children will have fun making and will enjoy watching the birds pecking at it[/caption] Make your very own bird feeder with your children and put outside where they can look out of the window and watch the birds enjoy this winter. For this you will need: * A piece of toasted bread * A shaped cookie cutter * Peanut butter * Bird seed 1. To make the shaped bird feeder, cut a shape (heart/star/circle) out of the piece of toast using the cookie cutter. 2. Spread peanut butter over both sides of the toast. 3. Press the peanut buttered toast into a bowl filled with bird seed. Make sure you press hard, to get all the little nooks and crannies of the toast. 4. Punch a hole in the corner and thread a string of twine through before it completely dries. 5. Then let the completed bird feeder dry overnight. 6. Hang it up in a place you can watch the birds peck away at it. Craft Courtesy of Mummy Blogger 'Hands On As We Grow' : www.handsonaswegrow.com
