Autumn Craft: DIY Snow Globe

This simple DIY Snow Globe is a great easy craft for kids of all ages! Create a customised glittery globe to keep or gift to a loved one this Christmas.

Supplies:

* 1 Glass Jar
* Small item to use as a focal point (eg: Christmas ornament, small toy, plastic or ceramic figurine)
* Glitter
* Distilled Water
* Clear Glue
* Glue Gun

Instructions:

1. Select a focal point object to use in your snow globe. Get an adult to use the hot glue gun to glue the focal point object to the centre of the lid of the jar.
2. Fill the jar halfway full of distilled water and then squirt in some clear glue and stir it into the water.
3. Add 1-2 teaspoons of glitter.
4. Fill the jar up almost full with more distilled water, leaving enough space in the jar for the focal point object so the jar doesn’t overflow.
5. Screw the lid tightly onto the jar so that the focal point object fits nicely inside.
6. Turn the jar upside down and watch the “snow” fall!
