For parents and age 2-4 year old tots (explore nature through the seasons). Take an Education Ranger led themed walk followed by a craft activity.

BUGS AND BEASTIES TRAIL, Canons Ashby

Find out more about some of the tiny creatures that live at Canons Ashby and get out in the fresh air together. Bring your wellies! It may be a squelchy adventure.

Visit Wicksteed Park this half term for a fun packed day out with the kids! Visit the new animal attraction. Get up close and personal with the beautiful birds and those cheeky meerkats. There will be numerous sessions each day (price is included with all wristbands or 3 tickets). With rides for people aged 3-103, there’s so much to do!

FEATHERED FRIENDS Stanwick Lakes

February 19th and 20th, 1 - 4pm

Build a wooden bird box or feeder to take home to your garden, follow the birdy trail, make bird related crafts and get up close to beautiful owls and birds of prey, thanks to bird rescuers Owls to Behold. This is a drop-in event, no booking required.

BOTTLE FEEDING LAMBS, Mini Meadows Farm

24th February onwards,  10am - 4pm

Bottle-feed little lambs and meet other cute newborn animals in the baby barn. Explore the huge Treetops indoor play area  and don’t forget the larger animals who will  be waiting to meet you.

BRITISH SCIENCE WEEK Daventry Museum

‘Our Diverse Planet’ is the theme for this years Science Week. There will be lots of fun science, technology, engineering and maths based experiments at the museum to keep the little ones entertained and amazed. Family friendly event.
