SEND SESSIONS

Designed for children with special educational needs and disabilities, their SEND sessions
provide full use of all the facilities. Brothers, sisters and friends are all welcome to join in the fun at this time with the freedom and comfort of knowing that the time is suited to them.

SEN FRIENDLY WORKSHOP

4th February (Booking Required) at Woburn Safari Park

Visit the Park for a day on safari that includes a 60 minute educational workshop designed
for children with special educational needs and disabilities. Arrive at the Park any time after
it opens and go on a self-guided adventure through the Road Safari and Foot Safari, before
joining one of the rangers for an educational activity of your choice. Each month features
different activities around the safari park which can be chosen in advance of your day via the website. You can then spend the rest of your day enjoying the Park with unlimited repeat circuits of the Road Safari, or stay in the Foot Safari and take advantage of the numerous keeper talks and demonstrations or the leisure activities.

SEND MUSIC AND MOVEMENT

Every Wednesdays from 11:15 (Booking Required) at Summerlin Community Centre

Inclusive musical fun for children and young adults with additional needs and their carers.
A huge range of music, lots of bubbles, the parachute and a variety of props, in a safe,
non-judgemental environment. Everyone is welcome to join, including those without
a diagnosis. There is no specific structure to these sessions, it can change on a weekly basis. Together you will enjoy different types of music, from nursery rhymes to classical, pop and rock. Enjoy dance and sing, encouraging movement, communication and socialisation.
