Why was Toddle About LIVE! created?
Toddle About LIVE! was created to bring together everything loved about the Toddle About community in one place.
As a mum, I know how special it is to discover local businesses that genuinely make family life easier, more enjoyable and more connected.
I wanted to create a day for Suffolk where families could explore, play, ask questions, meet local experts and simply enjoy spending quality time together.
Whether you're expecting your first baby or have children already racing around the house, there really is something for everyone.

What can we expect on the day?
Expect a relaxed family day out with local businesses, shopping, expert advice, baby and toddler activities, demonstrations, entertainment, food, goody bags and plenty of opportunities to discover new classes, products and services from across Suffolk.
Is Toddle About LIVE! free?
Yes! Entry is completely free, and so are many of the activities throughout the day, including soft play, demonstrations and a variety of taster sessions. Some exhibitors may offer optional paid activities or products, but there's plenty to enjoy without spending a penny.
Do I need tickets?
Yes! Booking a free ticket helps us plan for the day, keep you updated with the latest event information and ensure we have goody bags ready and activities for everyone.
What age is it suitable for?
Toddle About LIVE! is designed primarily for expectant parents and families with children from birth to around five years old. However, everyone is welcome! Older siblings often enjoy the entertainment and activities too, so it's a lovely day out for the whole family.
Is it suitable for babies?
Definitely. Whether you've just welcomed your baby or they're already on the move, Toddle About LIVE! is a lovely opportunity to discover local support, meet other families and enjoy a relaxed day out together.
Is it suitable during pregnancy?
Yes! Toddle About LIVE! is a fantastic place to discover local pregnancy and baby services, meet experts and ask questions. Previous events have welcomed independent midwives, antenatal specialists, doulas, reflexologists, photographers and many more businesses supporting families from pregnancy onwards.
Can I bring grandparents?
Absolutely! Toddle About LIVE! is all about bringing families together. One booking covers your whole group, so grandparents, family and friends are all very welcome.
What should I bring?
Just yourselves! Everything else is optional. We'd recommend bringing your changing bag, pushchair if needed and plenty of enthusiasm for discovering new businesses, activities and family favourites.
Is parking free?
Yes! There is ample free parking onsite, with a large tarmac car park directly outside the Main School building, making it easy for families with little ones.
Are pushchairs welcome?
Yes! Pushchairs are very welcome. The venue is mostly on one level, with lift access available to help families and wheelchair users access the main exhibition hall.
Is there somewhere to feed babies?
Yes! We'll have comfortable seating available throughout the venue, along with quieter spaces where you can feed your baby if needed.
Will there be baby changing facilities?
Yes. Baby changing facilities will be available throughout the venue.
Are dogs allowed?
No, sorry. Although Culford School is a dog-friendly site, we kindly ask that dogs are not brought to Toddle About LIVE! (with the exception of assistance dogs).
Is there food available?
Yes! You'll find a selection of refreshments, snacks and food available throughout the day, with something for both adults and little ones to enjoy.
How long should we allow?
Most families stay for two to three hours, although many end up spending longer exploring everything on offer! There's plenty to see, do and discover throughout the day.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. Culford School is easy to find, well signposted and accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs, with accessible facilities available.
Can I buy things?
Absolutely! Many of our exhibitors are small independent businesses showcasing products you won't always find on the high street. There's no pressure to buy, but don't be surprised if you discover a few favourites along the way!
Can I pay by card?
Yes. Most exhibitors accept and prefer card payments, although a small number may also accept cash.

Our chosen charity Partner
Families Together Suffolk are a local, independent charity based in Suffolk, supporting families with children. They provide free, confidential and non-judgemental early-intervention support to help families through challenging times. Support is offered through one-to-one home-visiting support and a range of support groups, including SEND support, perinatal support and family support groups.
At Families Together Suffolk, they work alongside families to reduce isolation, strengthen parenting confidence and skills, and improve overall family wellbeing. Support is delivered by trained volunteers and staff and is tailored to the individual needs of each family. Families can self-refer or be referred by professionals to help achieve their aim; helping families thrive and build positive futures together.
