We sing for well-being, connection and joy! We learn simple harmony songs by ear - no auditions, no sheet music, no previous experience necessary. The women sit in a circle with a mat and some toys in the middle for the babies and toddlers. It's a relaxed space - you can move around as you need to, change your baby, breastfeed, play with your toddler, help yourself to a drink. We sing for roughly an hour and then have half an hour of tea, cake, and socialising.
Singing Mamas is a national non-profit for maternal wellbeing, with singing at its heart. This group is a great place for expecting and new mums and their little ones. Women of all life stages are welcome too: mums, aunties, grandmas, sisters, friends, all allies of mums! Come and be part of a community where women of all ages support each other.
