Happy Little Signers provides award-winning baby and toddler signing classes across Alsager, Congleton, Middlewich and Sandbach/Elworth, supporting families from birth right through to their child’s 4th birthday.
Our classes teach simple, useful signs based on British Sign Language (BSL), always used alongside spoken language. Babies and young children understand so much before they are able to express everything they want to say, and signing gives them an additional visual way to understand and communicate while their speech and language skills develop.
But Happy Little Signers is much more than a signing class.
Our sessions combine signing with songs, music, movement and sensory play, including bubbles, parachutes, scarves, props and themed activities. Everything is designed to make learning natural, engaging and fun, whether you have a tiny baby taking everything in from your lap or a busy toddler who wants to explore the room!
We offer baby classes, toddler classes and mixed-age classes depending on location, with sessions designed around the developmental stage of the children attending. There is never any pressure for children to sit still, perform or join in with every activity. Feeding, changing, cuddling, sleeping, moving around and taking a break are all completely normal parts of our classes.
Community is at the heart of Happy Little Signers too. We know that finding the right baby or toddler class isn’t only about what your child gets from it. Our classes provide a friendly, relaxed and non-judgemental space where parents and carers can meet other local families, build friendships and find their own little village.
