Cliveden National Trust

Set high above the River Thames, Cliveden’s magnificent gardens and breath-taking views have been admired for centuries. Visit Cliveden and you’ll discover a series of gardens with impressive floral displays, distinctive topiary and an outstanding sculpture collection as well as acres of woodlands to explore.  

There are lots of events and activities planned throughout the year including the school holidays to suit all ages and tastes. 

Upcoming programming includes ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ trail, suitable for pre-school ages and is running from 9 May – 5 July 2026.

✨ Children’s Crafting Sessions at Cliveden – Every Monday in June! ✨ As part of the We’re Going on a Bear Hunt trail, join us at the Doll’s House Café for fun, relaxed crafting sessions from 10am–12pm each Monday in June. Suggested donation: £2. Standard admission applies.

🎨 What’s happening? Children can make their own bear masks and help create collaborative crafts that bring the Bear Hunt story to life. Each week explores a different part of the tale, so there’s always something new for little adventurers to enjoy.

📍 Location: The Doll’s House Café, tucked behind the Water Garden at Cliveden National Trust.

A lovely way to add some creativity to your visit and keep little hands busy throughout June.

Summer of Play will also be returning from 18 July – 6 September 2026. Both trails are free, pay admission on arrival or scan you National Trust membership card. Car parking is included in the admission price.  

Especially for families, there is a storybook themed play area, giant maze and woodland play trail and the gift shop, which was designed with families in mind. At Cliveden, there is a range of food outlets available on your visit.
