babyballet® York & Selby offers award‑winning, fun and informal dance classes for babies, toddlers and young children aged 6 months to 6 years.

At babyballet®, we welcome young children into our magical dance community, providing an exciting, inclusive and educational experience for little ones. Our classes introduce children to the joy of movement through ballet, song and dance in a safe, caring and positive environment, with a strong focus on learning through play.

Our carefully designed syllabus supports the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping children develop coordination, balance, rhythm and creativity, alongside important social skills like sharing, confidence and independence. Using engaging props and our much‑loved characters, Teddy and Twinkle, every class is filled with imagination and fun.

We offer a range of classes to suit every stage of development, including:

• 🪇Tinies (18 months–3 years)

• 🩰Movers (3–4 years)

• 👯Tappers (3+ years)

• 🪩Groovers (4–6 years)

At babyballet® York & Selby, we pride ourselves on creating a fun, friendly and inclusive experience for every child, no matter their age or ability. Our classes are also a lovely way for parents, carers and guardians to meet and make new friends.

Classes run across York and Selby, making it easy to find a convenient location near you. All classes are led by Miss Jasmin, a trained dancer and former primary school teacher, who combines professional expertise with a deep understanding of early years development.

We offer a three‑week introductory trial, giving you and your child the chance to experience the magic of babyballet® before committing to a full term.
