Our Story

Once upon a time, two swim teachers, Christian and Jo Wilson, became sad that the pools they hired compromised their swimmers’ needs. They were fed up with the cold pools, the poor cleanliness, and the small changing rooms.


It took a lot of courage and determination, but they knew they wanted to create the best possible family swim centres in Warwickshire. Hey, presto! We zoom to today and dreams have become a reality.

Our Pools

Both of our swimming pools in Rugby and Leamington Spa are unique with special built-in super-fast filtration and UV sanitation, to provide super clean water, which is very reassuring in today’s ‘new world’.


You will love our big changing rooms, baby change tables, toddler playpens, family viewing areas and free car parking. These small details add up to take the stress out of family swimming.

Our Passion

At Swim Works you’ll find we are Passionate about swim teaching with a capital P! We love completing extra training to provide the lastest swim techniques and getting to know all of our swim families, so everyone thrives.


Our friendly team are always on hand to support you each term. We also provide a ‘Teacher Check-In’ where we can talk about your child’s swim progression.

Our programme is carefully structured around a blend of the Swim England (SE) and Swimming Teachers Association (STA) ‘Learn To Swim’ framework, together with our special Aqua Sensory® child-development ethos. Our pool is a safe place to learn to swim, gain confidence and life-long skills, which will give your child a head-start in all areas of their life.
