Charity Splashathon on 3rd October 2010

Aqualight Babies organises charity event to raise money for Tommy's Baby Charity and Fairfields School

The 3rd October is set to be an amazing splashathon for babies and children to help raise money for Tommy’s Baby Charity and Fairfields School. It is a fantastic fun event where your child will be sponsored by family and friends to take part in Aqualight Babies swimming challenges. All the swimming challenges will be to your child’s abilities and chosen by you. Our Aqualight Babies swimming teachers will be on hand in the pool to guide you and your child through each swimming challenge safely.

Challenges include swimming with woggle, ride on parent's back, diving under the water and many others.

On completing your challenges your child will receive a certificate from our mascot.

There will be complimentary tea and coffee for all weary adults!

Some craft stalls will be there for a little retail therapy and don’t forget to visit the Aqualight stand for more goodies and info on the Aqualight baby swimming experience.

Why raise money for Tommy’s?

Aqualight feels passionately about the charity's research and support into prevention of premature births and miscarriages. Some of Tommy’s research has touched members of the Aqualight staff personally and finding some of the answers to prevent more families going through the heart ache of miscarriage and other complications is something our staff hold dear to their hearts.

Why raise money for Fairfields?

We have used Fairfields school for many years in connection with our own Aqualight Babies swimming courses and the aim of the school, 'Helping children to help themselves', is an excellent goal.
